Adoption Guidelines

Second Chance Animal Rescue is a no-kill animal welfare organization that provides shelter and veterinary care for abandoned, neglected, abused, and unwanted animals until they are adopted into loving homes. It's our responsibility and mission to find the best possible home and to meet the individual needs of each rescue. Therefore, we reserve the right to approve or deny any adoption for any reason.

To help us make the best match for you & your family, we require an application to be completed by those serious about adopting. It is our goal to rehabilitate these animals and place them in life long homes. We make every attempt to screen our animals for both health and behavior issues. Certain types of problems may not demonstrate themselves until the animal is in a home environment. For these reasons we cannot guarantee the health or temperament of any rescue, but out goal is simple: to match the right animal to the right home.

Adoption fees vary. Please see individual listing for adoption fee for that particular pet. We try to review applications as quickly as possible and we thank you for your patience.
